Alan Wray Tudyk was born on 16th March 1971, and he is an American actor . His film credits include 28 Days in 2000, A Knight's Tale in 2001, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story in 2004, and voicing Sonny in I, Robot in 2004. He also appeared in the Western thriller 3:10 to Yuma in 2007 and led the black comedy horror film Tucker & Dale vs. Evil in 2010. Additional appearances include Transformers: Dark of the Moon in 2011, 42 in 2013, the sci-fi sequel Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials in 2015, and the historical drama Trumbo in 2015. He has voiced characters in all Walt Disney Animation Studios films since 2012. Tudyk is also known for his television roles portraying Wash in the cult-favorite space Western Firefly from 2002 to 2003. Although it ran for only one season , the show became a beloved cult classic. He reprised this role in the 2005 continuation film Serenity, which expanded upon the series . His other roles include the English black comedy Death at a Funeral in 2007, the comedy series Arrested Development in 2005, 2013, and 2019, and the science fiction series Dollhouse from 2009 to 2010. He has voiced Green Arrow in Young Justice from 2010 to 2013 and in 2019, along with numerous voices on American Dad! since 2011. Tudyk also starred in the sitcom Suburgatory from 2011 to 2014, the satirical series Newsreaders from 2014 to 2015, and voiced characters in Star vs. the Forces of Evil from 2015 to 2019. He played Dangerboat in The Tick from 2017 to 2019, brought K-2SO to life in the 2016 Star Wars film Rogue One, and took on the role of Eric Morden / Mr. Nobody in Doom Patrol in 2019. In the realm of video games , voicing Mickey in Halo 3: ODST in 2009, reprised his role as K-2SO in Star Wars Battlefront in 2015, and continuing as Green Arrow in multiple DC Super Hero games in 2013, 2015, and 2017. Since 2019, Tudyk has voiced The Joker and Clayface in the animated series Harley Quinn. Tudyk plays the lead role of Dr. Harry Vanderspeigle in the sci-fi comedy Resident Alien and voices Optimus Prime in Transformers: EarthSpark .
